SLOWS TO GO

Photobucket
The expansion of Slows BBQ is complete with it's very own carry out operation at the corner of Cass and Alexandrine, mere miles from it's originator on Michigan Avenue. The kitchen takes up a majority of the building on the cooking side of a steel counter and the customer side has the familiar wood paneling of Slows, lots of windows at this spot and while waiting for your food order you can enjoy some large scale art by one of my favorite masters, Vaughn Taormina. On this day, I also got to enjoy looking at hot worker men install the new sign while I waited....I don't eat meat and i love this place!
