Family Friendly Haunting

Maxwells Arts and Treasures houses so much inspiration in the forms of antiques, programs, classes, people, art, music and everything inside is pumped through one boss ladies heart, Laura George. It's a beautiful thing.

The president of Plymouth Westland Grange 389, Sharon Strebbing heads a teen club, Planet Teen-Teen Art based out of Maxwell's in Garden City and together with some help full members of the community Sharon and the teens turned a part of the Maxwell's warehouse into a haunted scrapyard. It took them approximately one month to construct walls, decorate, make costumes....all the workings of a haunted house with teams that varied from 15-40 teenagers. I walked through the youngster version of the haunted scrapyard with two very brave young women. I made them go first.
